Secure a Cherish Ball Mew from a historical distribution

Cherish Ball (non-shiny) · Pokémon

Why this matters

Cherish Ball Mew comes from My Pokémon Ranch or time-limited event distributions; these Mew cannot be Shiny. My Pokémon Ranch can no longer be purchased, but an already-installed copy can still unlock Hayley's Mew locally and send it to Diamond or Pearl. The other event routes have ended. Any unfinished legacy route must reach HOME before Pokémon Bank ends.

Acquisition

Still available

Use a working copy of My Pokémon Ranch that is already installed, store 999 Pokémon there, and trade Hayley an Egg for her Mew. Otherwise, secure an existing event specimen from old save files or Pokémon Bank.

Requirements

For the local Ranch route: Wii with My Pokémon Ranch already installed and a compatible Nintendo DS system · Nintendo 3DS family system · For the Ranch route: My Pokémon Ranch, Pokémon Diamond or Pearl, and a Generation V game · For a Mew already moved forward, its current legacy game or Pokémon Bank is sufficient · Poké Transporter, Pokémon Bank, and Pokémon HOME Premium Plan
